Despite the low star count, this isn't a 'negative' review much.
I simply marked it how I believed it should be. This is my first 'critique' basically because I saw the others for this pic and they aren't accurate.
This picture is not original, at all. A picture of a pony being cute and lying on their back? I've seen a dozen of these. It's not the least original thing I've ever seen so you get one and a half.
Impact. Like I said, it's too common, the first time I saw it I might have smiled and thought. "That's cute." but now I just stare at it and go, "Really? This again?". So I didn't 'd'awww', or smile, it was just a random picture of a pony trying to be cute.
Vision, well, this is certainly no epic. It's a picture of Twilight lying on her back in the grass. I at least assume it's grass, there is no definition of the background in the slightest.
Technique. It's still a pretty good picture, so I'm going to praise your technique. It looks good, the shading it great and the way her cutie-marks are barely visible on her hips really add a bit of life to the pic. However, I take half a star off for each of these flaws. Firstly, no definition on the 'grass' background, it's just a shade of green, kinda takes away from the pic. Secondly for the eyelashes, too long that they just look silly, I'd rather have the show's eyelashes. And finally for the 'wubs' bit. That's just trying too hard to be cute, so much so that it takes away from me for it.
I realise this won't be a popular critique but I think it's accurate.
I got a minor case of diabetes from this. The only thing I can find that is out of place is the shape of the left front leg. It is rounded from both ends, making it look less like a hoof and more like a weird egg thingie. I can see a line that probably was meant to fix it, (It is pretty faint) But you probably missed it when you were coloring.
Other then that, it is great. I couldn't help but get a giant case of D'awwww.
Either way, I am not actually a very good artist, so feel free to ignore me. Have a great day!
