Sorry I haven't been posting for a bit. It's been difficult to function lately and the heat isn't helping... it's been 36C for DAYS now and we have no AC. Will try to be more active

We sunk 10 grand into a new AC recently. Room now is getting to be closer to a more neutral, and survivable temperature.
My room was only equipped with a ceiling fan, and was always subject to the Vegas heat.
Basically, I lived in a box with improper insulation on the wall that the window was on. The room was a converted garage, but they(previous owner) halfassed the part about sealing the window frame, and putting sufficient(any?) insulation inside the wall itself.
So, it's the same as sitting in a garage with the garage door being painted black, facing the sunrise, and sharing the laundry room, which is also allowing the heat to seep in. Do this for about 3 years. In temps averaging 110F/43C
